Finding Your Divine Rhythm: Connecting with the Balance and Peace that Speaks to Your Season of Life
With Christine Jurisich
January 24 - 26, 2025
There is a reason we feel out of sorts when our lives get out of balance. A Divine rhythm is sewn into our very being. This Divine pacing has its roots in the Creation story, where we are inspired to live a life of work and rest; prayer and action; solitude and community.
This rhythm will look and feel different depending on your season of life. Are you struggling with finding balance in your life while living in a loud and complicated world? Is retirement, empty-nesting, the challenges of aging, or caregiving calling you to a new rhythm, and you are unsure what that is supposed to mean?
In this retreat, you will reflect on the pacing in your day, week, and year with Holy Pauses, the Sabbath, and embracing the seasons with prayer and ritual; reflect on being intentional with the yeses and noes in your life; experience guided meditations that include music and imagery. You can expect a balanced pacing of presentation, prayer, personal time, and small-group sharing for those who choose to share, all in a welcoming and non-judgmental environment. Connect with your Divine rhythm in a way that opens yourself up to more balance and peace that is true to you and your season of life.
SAMPLE AGENDA
Please Note: This is a sample agenda to give you a sense of the pacing of this weekend retreat. Specific times may change depending on the content.
A “session” as noted below will have a mixture of presentation, prayer and music, sharing (if you choose to share) in small and large groups, personal time, and invitation to integrate the reflections with an activity such as a walking or art meditation. You are always invited to experience the retreat at the pacing that feels right for you.
